Introduction to law

De Baripedia

Based on a course by Victor Monnier[1][2][3]

This study programme is specially designed to introduce non-law students to key concepts in law. It provides a comprehensive overview of various legal perspectives, covering general legal theory and legal structures, both national and international, in Switzerland. The course also looks at the role of international organisations and the importance of fundamental rights. In addition to theoretical lectures, the programme includes practical work sessions focusing on the analysis and interpretation of key legal sources. These sessions aim to strengthen students' understanding of how to approach and interpret fundamental legal texts.
