Avoid using this template for bibliographic citations. This template does not provide important bibliographic information, such as authors, publisher, or publication date.<br />

The CS1 [[Wikipedia:Citation templates|citation templates]], such as {{tl|Cite web}} and {{tl|Cite news}}, all support archive links within them. To add an archive link to those templates, simply add {{para|archive-url}} with the URL to the Internet Archive (or other archiving service), and then add {{para|archive-date}} with the date and {{para|dead-url|yes}} if the original link is dead.<br />

If provided, the Template will format the date and display it: Month-name, day-number, year. If omitted, the history of the referenced page will be listed instead. You must use the full 4 digits for the year, and 2 digits for month, day, hour minute and second. Use leading zeros if necessary, and use a 24-hour clock for the time.<br />
