The aim of the course is to provide a synthetic introduction to international issues and their evolution from the beginning of the 19th century to the present day: the international system, relations between great powers, colonisation, world wars, the Cold War, decolonisation, the emergence of the Third World, economic crises, new issues at the beginning of the 21st century.
